Rygarius has added the latest updates to the PTR patch notes which we’ve listed below. As always, these notes are a work in progress and nothing is final. Additions or changes are marked in BOLD, removals are marked by ITALICS. Strikethrough text is from Blizzard and serves the same purpose as italics.
Updated patch notes for the 6.2 PTR (Build 19953) have been published, and here’s the lowdown: Felblight (the expensive crafting component formerly known as Felblood) will now come from gathering professions in Tanaan Jungle, including Fishing. (The devs still have plans for the Barn, but it won’t be where you get Felblight, as was originally assumed.) Ashran is undergoing more iteration, chiefly in the form of making events more frequent but longer-lasting. Point captures in several Battlegrounds will take less time, as will picking up the flag in Rated Eye of the Storm. A smattering of class tweaks, which are, of course, very, very in-flux. Read the most recent changes below (Bold for additions, italics for removals), or read the full patch notes on the official site. PTR Disclaimer Please keep in mind that the notes below are not final, and details may be subject to change before the release of Patch
Rygarius updated the patch notes for 6.2 today with additional information about Timewalking, Profession Crafted items (get ready for more upgrades!) and a few additions to Ashran. Bold text are additions or changes, italic text is items that were removed. As always, remember anything currently on the PTR is subject to change and we’re a long way off from the patch release so don’t get too crazy about nerfs/buffs/too much content/not enough content. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go see a certain celestial dragon and his team about the Holy Shock mana increase.
A few updates have been posted to the 6.2 Patch notes. Bold text means there was an addition or update, italic text means the item was removed. Strikethroughs are carried over from Blizzard’s original post and means the change has been reverted since the last update. The items listed below are the only changes since the last update. For the full list of patch notes in their current iteration, the full current list is available on the World of Warcraft community site. As always, remember: The patch is currently in a very VERY early stage of testing, and everything has the potential to be changed up until (and even after) the patch is released. What is nerfed now may not be nerfed in two months (unless you’re a Paladin. No bitterness though.)
World of Warcraft Patch 6.1.2 is now available on the Public Test Realms. So far there is only one thing (that we know of) in testing for this patch, the WoW Token. As is pointed out in the post below, the token is not actually available for testing at this time, this is just implementing the back-end structure for future testing. Introducing the WoW Token Coming soon to an Azeroth near you: the WoW Token, a new in-game item that allows players to simply and securely exchange gold and game time between each other. Players will be able to purchase a WoW Token through the in-game Shop for real money, and then sell it on the Auction House for gold at the current market price. When a player buys a WoW Token from the Auction House for gold, the Token becomes Soulbound, and the player can then redeem it for
Blizzard just pushed a small client-side patch build out to fix some minor bugs related to patch 6.1. If you log in to the game before your system has updated to the newest version your realm list could show as incompatible. If this happens just log out of the game, exit the Battle.net launcher, and reopen it. This should force it to pull down the newest client-side data. If you’re curious about what the patch contained, see the list below or check out the original post from Rygarius here. Bug Fixes General Fixed a number of issues that could cause the client to crash. Fixed an issue where name and chat filters were not blocking some inappropriate words. Classes Rogue Fixed an issue where Combat Rogues were unable to apply Deadly Poison from the Spellbook’s fly-out menu. UI Raid frames should no longer sometimes display character realm names in a
Rygarius updated the World of Warcraft blog with the latest 6.1 Public Testing Realm (PTR) patch notes today. This build is also flagged as a release candidate, meaning that this is likely a final build and we can expect 6.1 to go live on any given Tuesday. However, there are suspicions that the patch might be held back in order to prevent it from interfering with the race for Mythic World First in Blackrock Foundry. Either way, keep an eye open next Tuesday. Highlights for this update: The “veteran edition” mode that was uncovered when the PTR first came up now seems to be operational. You can now cook using the fireplace in your Town Hall in Tier 2/3 Alliance garrisons. BIG changes involving cosmetic transformations from toys. A pretty big list of class ability adjustments that hit almost every class. We’ve provided a summary of changes below, or you can always

The PTR has been updated with a new build, and the Community Team has denoted the changes in the PTR Patch Notes blog. The natural order continues. Highlights include the following: A new suite of options for colorblind players has been added. The Twitter integration is now functional, though still occasionally buggy. Some quality-of-life improvements regarding the Trading Post and quest rewards in Nagrand. The days of forming raids to clear Apexis dailies are numbered; you’ll no longer complete those objectives while in a raid group. Cosmetic transformations won’t work in rated PVP, which means both arena and RBGs. Also, as a PSA, QA CM Turnip Deity Zorbrix indicated that there are some known issues with the new blood elf female models. This forum post goes into more detail.
