So we recently posted a little rumor that the Warcraft movie teaser trailer would be shown before Jurassic World. It wasn’t confirmed yet and it appears that the rumor is false. Duncan Jones debunked it on Twitter today .@owlonwow no sir. No trailer yet. But Jurassic World is a lot of fun, all the same! — Duncan Jones (@ManMadeMoon) June 11, 2015 So if you were looking forward to some orc action followed by some dinosaur action, it looks like you’ll be sorely disappointed this weekend. Hopefully we’ll get that trailer soon though (perhaps San Diego Comic Con).
Legendary Pictures has a big blockbuster movie coming out on June 12 with Jurrasic World. What better way to advertise your blockbuster movie for 2016 than to show it’s trailer at the beginning? That’s right, it looks like in a couple short weeks the Warcraft trailer will finally be revealed to the world. According to the website projectionlist the Warcraft teaser trailer will be shown before the movie Jurassic World in theaters. Now this isn’t a full movie trailer, this is a teaser trailer. It could be something similar to the 30 second clip we got with the new Star Wars movie a couple months back. I think it’s likely to be the teaser trailer that we got to see at BlizzCon 2014, but finished. Chances are the trailer will probably also be on the internet that same day without having to go to the movie theaters to see it. But
All aboard the hype train! Wired got an exclusive with the first look at the orcs in the upcoming Warcraft movie. This is the first public release of what they would look like and I’m very excited that everyone finally gets to see how amazing this looks. We got to see a sneak peek of a trailer at BlizzCon and I was personally blown away at how realistic the orcs looked in it and this should give people a good idea now of what they are in for. Yeah, it’s not motion yet, but trust me – it’s awesome. In this picture we see Orgrim played by actor Robert Kazinsky. Warcraft is set to release June 10, 2016.
We have seen the StarCraft and Heroes of the Storm April Fools jokes, now it’s time for Warcraft. Sadly enough, I think this would have been a real feature when 6.1 was released as it would have fit in with their whole SELFIE and twitter integration junk they decided to add to the game. Luckily though, it’s just a typical April Fools Day joke instead. You can read more about this upcoming Garrison feature below.

The users hate them because they can be annoying and get in the way of the content. They can be dangerous because sometimes malicious people will sneak malware in through ads before the publishers notice before it’s too late. Could you run anything with 60% of your revenue being cut simply because users have a program installed? It’s terrible and I hate ads. I hate having to troubleshoot problems they bring when malicious ads come through and I get a sick feeling to my stomach if any of my users got

Another round of hotfixes went into Warlords today. This one fixes mainly bugs, but the big news is primal spirits are getting an increase in their drop rates when harvesting outside of your garrison. Also, no more scamming on the auction house with the Brawler’s Guild potions as those have been made bind on pickup. You can read more about today’s hotfixes here – To see all the recent hotfixes, check out our Patch Notes page Garrisons, Followers, and Outposts Outposts [Requires a realm restart.] Completing a quest for a newly swapped Outpost building should no longer cause it to incorrectly revert back to a pre-swapped state. Classes Hunter Talents Crouching Tiger, Hidden Chimera should now work correctly with the Glyph of Mirrored Blades. Priest Talents Clarity of Will’s (Discipline) protective ward on a critical effect should now be correctly reduced by Battle Fatigue in PvP combat. Glyphs Glyph of
In what will probably be the final major news for WoW in 2014, Bashiok laid down a bomb of what 2015 in WoW will look like for patch 6.1 and beyond. It sounds like Patch 6.1 will be available on the PTR soon and there’s some huge things coming down the pipe. The legendary quest continues, Blood Elves get their new player models, integration with Twitter which will include screenshots directly from WoW, new features for Garrisons, heirloom collection tab, allowing players to buy tradeable in game game-time tokens to be used for subscriptions, and the ability for anyone to run online tournaments for more eSports – and more. These are some pretty huge features and with WoW being back to over 10 million subscribers it’s apparent that Blizzard is definitely refocused on making sure WoW stays the king in the MMO world. Another round of hotfixes for Warlords of Draenor. The biggest news in the last 2 days is that the Satchel of Savage Mysteries now has a guaranteed chance to award a piece of heroic dungeon loot (iLevel 630 rare) for the character’s specialization. This is in response to the really bad queue times people are seeing for heroic dungeons currently to entice basically more tanks to queue. The Butcher in Highmaul now has a chance to drop a Green Winter Hat. And most important of all… the Darkmoon Faire will now show up on the calendar for 2015! 😉 You can read the latest hotfix patch notes here: December 16 Garrisons, Followers, and Outposts Garrison Buildings A hotfix in testing from December 11 for the Inn has been implemented. The achievement, Stay Awhile and Listen now only requires the character to complete 10 of the 20 Inn quests (down from
Another round of hotfixes to hit Warlords today and this one, while fixing bugs, also addresses some class balancing for Hunters, Monks, and Rogues. Looks like there’s some buffs going in for these DPS classes that might have been under performing compared to others in raid groups while monks get a slight nerf. Find the full list of patch notes here. December 15 Class Tuning Changes Please note, the following class tuning changes are still undergoing testing and will be implemented as soon as possible. Hunter Beast Mastery Improved Focus Fire now grants a 5% increase (up from 2%) to attack power for every stack of Frenzy that had been consumed. Survival Serpent Sting’s damage has increased by 60%. Monk General Stance of the Fierce Tiger now increases all damage dealt by 5% (down from 10%). Rogue Assassination Venomous Wounds’ damage has increased by 20%. Combat Blade Flurry now also
