(SPOILERS) The Horde returns to one of the last vestiges of Alliance power in Kalimdor in patch 8.1’s upcoming Darkshore warfront. Tides of Vengeance brings a revamped Darkshore outdoor zone with dozens of World Quests, rarespawns with mounts, toys, cosmetics, and gear in addition to hosting the latest mass PvE experience. Below, we take an early look at the Horde introduction experience as they unlock the Darkshore warfront.

In the Horde introduction quests to Darkshore, players land at a small foothold to news of strange magic and spirits in the woods. Players follow the lead of Nathanos as they chase after Tyrande, resurrect new Alliance characters into Horde servitude of undeath, and set the stage for the epic battles to come. Notably, Sira Moonwarden becomes a Horde Death Warden and one of Sylvanas’ precious Val’kyr falls in battle.
