(SPOILERS) Alliance Darkshore Intro Questing, Scenario, WoW 8.1 PTR

(SPOILERS) The Alliance rebuffs the Horde on Darkshore in the upcoming warfront for patch 8.1. Tides of Vengeance brings a revamped Darkshore outdoor zone with dozens of World Quests, rarespawns with mounts, toys, cosmetics, and gear in addition to hosting the latest mass PvE experience. Below, we take an early look at the Alliance introduction experience as they unlock the Darkshore warfront.

The Alliance Darkshore introduction has players chasing after an infuriated Tyrande. With Anduin refusing immediate aid to retake Darkshore and Teldrassil, Tyrande sets off with a contingent of Night Elves to begin a dangerous, ancient ritual to become Elune’s Night Warrior. As a Night Warrior, she gains fantastic new powers, dark eyes (also available to Night Elf players after reaching an achievement), and confronts key Horde figures including Belmont, Nathanos, and others. Sylvanas is also made to pay a heavy price (although perhaps not high enough) for her actions, losing one of her remaining Val’kyr, thereby reducing the viability of her entire race and her military prowess. Also of note, Malfurion seems to finally step out of the much-lamented “neutral” character role laid on him during Cataclysm, rising to her aid in ferocity and bloodlust.

Keep in mind this is PTR footage a month before patch release. Some assets and content may not be finalized.
