Patch 6.1 Notes, February 27th

by - 9 years ago

Blizzard just pushed a small client-side patch build out to fix some minor bugs related to patch 6.1. If you log in to the game before your system has updated to the newest version your realm list could show as incompatible. If this happens just log out of the game, exit the Battle.net launcher, and reopen it. This should force it to pull down the newest client-side data.

If you’re curious about what the patch contained, see the list below or check out the original post from Rygarius here.

Bug Fixes

  • General
    • Fixed a number of issues that could cause the client to crash.
    • Fixed an issue where name and chat filters were not blocking some inappropriate words.
  • Classes
    • Rogue
      • Fixed an issue where Combat Rogues were unable to apply Deadly Poison from the Spellbook’s fly-out menu.
  • UI
    • Raid frames should no longer sometimes display character realm names in a second line.

If you’re not sure if you have received the update, the version number next to the ‘Play’ button in the launcher should be 6.1.0.19702
