Stockpile Lesser Charms of Good Fortune for Item Upgrades & Coins in 6.0

by - 10 years ago

Do you still have a stockpile of Lesser Charms of Good Fortune? If so, you are in luck because Blizzard has finally given us another way to get rid of them.

With Blizzard dropping valor points, item upgrades will be done with lesser charms instead, and the only limit on upgrades will be based upon how many lesser charms you have. Unfortunately, lesser charms are not BOA, so you need to collect them on the toon you want the upgrades on.

It is tentatively 50 charms per upgrade, although this could change by 6.0. This is good news for everyone who still has a stockpile of lesser charms and nothing to do with them!

Players will also be able to do unlimited weekly quests for Warforged Seals, which give bonus rolls for Siege or Orgrimmar bosses. So again, as long as you have enough lesser charms, you can have a Warforged Seal to roll on every single boss in Siege of Orgrimmar if you’d like to try and get those last upgrades.  And it can be a great way to gear up those alts that you haven’t gotten around to grinding SoO for.

If you need more lesser charms, Timeless Isle is a great place to collect them, particularly from Gulp Frogs which are all located in a nice small area on the Timeless Isle. Also, some of the larger mobs on Timeless Isle, such as Evermaw and Golganarr drop a large number of charms, as well as the 3 faction-specific PVP daily mobs.

If you aren’t into grinding Timeless mobs for charms, especially for those undergeared alts, dailies currently offer lesser charms when you complete them. And if you haven’t found all the small treasure chests on Timeless Isle yet, many contain lesser charms as well.

Don’t forget that 6.0 will bring some other changes to it, namely the reduced 20-man raid size and the drop rate of the BOA weapons from Garrosh will become 100% for the first drop of your loot spec.
