A new flying mount recently began appearing in Warlords of Draenor beta mount lists–the Solar Firehawk. The flame-endowed Firehawk is reminiscent of the Flametalon of Alysrazor, but considerably more sleek.

The “Solar” prefix seems to indicate that this mount is related to the Arakkoa, due to their affinity for (and worship of) the sun. And yes, despite the fact that flying will not be in Draenor at launch, this mount was designed and functions as a flying mount.

Please keep in mind that sometimes mounts are added to the game but never made playable. It seems promising that it’s showed up in the acquirable mount list in-game, but sometimes things fall through.
