The Draenei, the Monk and the Wardrobe: Druid Staff Master
by JR Cook - 10 years ago show comments
The Draenei, the Monk and the Wardrobe is a recurring installment of World of Warcraft transmogrification tales. Join us as we eye every seam, embroidery, and color scheme down to the last button. Do not be fooled by the title; DMW loves all classes and races!
The other day was Walpurgis Night which is the eve of the feast day of Saint Walpurga, an 8th-century abbess in Germany. In this modern day and age, it is more a celebration of spring than anything else. How does one celebrate spring, you might ask? By setting things on fire, obviously. I spent the evening in question by a bonfire on the beach yelling “By fire be purged, winter!”
In Azeroth spring can be celebrated in many ways: chasing brightly colored eggs during the Nobelgarden festivities, laying siege to Ogrimmar, or as in my case, get a new fabulous transmog for my druid. She might be blind, but she handles that staff with deadly precision.
DRUID STAFF MASTER
This trasmog features one of my favourite staff models of all time, the Chillwind Staff, that has small, but noticeable rose petals that trail after it. There are only three staves with this particular model in the game, Staff of Earned Tranquility (with red roses) which is only available to worgen players, Rosethorn Staff (with yellow roses) that can be made with inscription, and lastly the Chillwind Staff (with pink roses) that can be had by completing the quest Alas, Andorhal.

Agreed, that staff is simply beautiful.
