The Draenei, the Monk and the Wardrobe: Troll Paladins and Night Elves in Leather
by JR Cook - 10 years ago show comments
The Draenei, the Monk and the Wardrobe is a recurring installment of World of Warcraft transmogrification tales. Join us as we eye every seam, embroidery, and color scheme down to the last button. Do not be fooled by the title; we will certainly take a look at transmogrifications for all classes and races.
As the dust settles from the Alpha Storm of Patch Notes we can now sit back and breathe a heavy sigh of relief. Warlords of Draenor is coming, changes are being made, and the game continues its cycle like a phoenix reborn.
Until more players get access to the new content, most of us are still stuck in patch 5.4, laying siege to Ogrimmar. But fear not, transmogrification is here to save the day! In an attempt to mix Avantgarde with the conventional and mundane side of Warcraft, this time, we are taking a look at a troll paladin, and night elves wearing leather.
Troll Paladin
The first transmog comes from BlizzPro’s very own Kevin V. He’s managed to turn his shaman into a paladin with this innovative and fun gear set. Trolls can wield the Light, right?

The following two transmogs comes from reader Keif.
Emerald Dream Druid
At first glance you might think that this is just a traditional druid transmog, but Keif has actually managed to use bits and pieces from three different druid tier sets (Cenarion, Malorne, and Stormrage), and one piece from a monk look-a-like tier set (Armor of Seven Sacred Seals), and as a whole he’s created an outfit that visually looks like a tier set that could’ve been put together by Blizzard themselves.

Cold Snap Monk
This transmog is a mixture of pieces from many expansions, and together they create a set that’s fit for a monk that’s exploring the mountains of Kun Lai Summit.
