Nick Carpenter Gets His Own Action Figure

File this under “fluff” news, but it’s definitely still fun. Our friend Nick Carpenter is the Vice President of Art & Cinematic Development and he tweeted at us today this little treat.

Now if you’re dumb like me you were too busy looking at the picture instead of reading the tweet and spend the next hour trying to figure out what character of Warcraft lore this statue was. Hopefully you’re not dumb like me and you noticed that this action figure is of Nick Carpenter himself and it appears that he wants to be a Warrior tank when he grows up.
It’s got to be pretty cool to have an action figure made after you, especially one of this quality. Working for Blizzard has to be long days and grueling work, but the fun little perks like this and the fact that you get to make awesome games and products surely makes up for it.
UPDATE: Neinball points out something in the comments below. This looks to be a replica of the series 2 action figures of the human warrior with the head shaped to look like Nick.
Is this just an internal thing or are they actually bringing back their action figure lines?
My guess is it’s an internal thing. No details were really given.
Ya know, I thought it looked familiar and now I know why. That’s definitely just an internal thing as it’s a recreation of the Human Warrior from Series 2 with Nick’s head. It being a warrior makes sense since DKs don’t use shields.
