UPDATE: World of Warcraft Players Receiving Discounted Character Services

UPDATE: This is now available to US servers as well
If you’re a World of Warcraft player living in Europe, the time is nigh to look into character services. According to their blog, Blizzard is running a special through this week where in the following services are a whopping 50% off:
- Character Transfers
- Faction Changes
- Race Changes
- Appearance Changes
- Name Changes
This promotion will be running through June 10th, so if you live in Europe, now’s definitely the time to tinker with your character, or get them away from that terrible server you’ve dreaded playing on. There’s been no confirmation that North American players will enjoy the same benefit, but it seems highly unlikely that those of us playing stateside won’t get our shot at discounted character servers.

For the US players – if you’re looking for a new home you might consider transferring to Kul Tiras and joining our official guild on the Horde side Twisted Empire or joining our Alliance sister guild Twisted Dynasty. Lots of active players that enjoy having fun and going through raid content as well. It’s really like a second family and now is the perfect time to move those characters over.
I am still waiting for them to implement a system for transfer multiple toons at batch rate. If I ever wanted to leave my server I’d want to bring along 4 toons and that’s a lot of money.
